An Initiative to support needy families during COVID-19

One of the core values of the MOM Foundation is to live a life in service to others. When we are faced with a pandemic of this magnitude, the MOM Foundation wants to show our willingness and ability to do something. So many people selflessly put themselves on the frontline to care for others with no consideration for their safety. Our nurses, doctors, police officers, firefighters, emergency service workers, grocery store clerks, restaurant workers, and first responders go to work every day with one intention, to take care of others. We are incredibly thankful for their service.

As a result of the Corona Virus outbreak, people throughout the world are under stay at home orders. The global economic impact of forced business closures is staggering. So many people have been laid-off or furloughed in the last eight weeks with no certainty of when or if they will be employed again. People are having a difficult time making ends meet. Our Community is no exception. Many friends and neighbors in our Rockland Community could use a little help right now.
